Overview

About SRMJEEE

SRMJEEE, the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination, is a national-level entrance test conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). It is the single admission test the SRM Group uses across its institutions.

The exam is the route into engineering programmes at SRMIST, at both undergraduate B.Tech and postgraduate M.Tech level. Scores apply across the group's campuses: Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani in and around Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, the Delhi-NCR campus at Ghaziabad, Sonepat in Haryana, Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh, and Sikkim. At counselling, seats are allotted on a candidate's All India Rank and course preference.

SRMJEEE runs in Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM). It is a computer-based test that candidates sit from home on a desktop or laptop with a webcam, held in multiple phases through the year. For B.Tech, eligibility requires a pass in Class 12 (10+2) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The paper covers Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (or Biology) at the 10+2 level, along with English and an aptitude section.
