About MET
The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. It governs admission to MAHE programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
For engineering, MET is the route into the B.Tech programmes at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal and MIT Bengaluru. To sit for B.Tech admission you need a 10+2 pass with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects and one of Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, at a minimum aggregate of 50 percent.
MET is an online computer-based test. You schedule your own sitting through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS), picking a date, time slot and city from those the university opens. The B.Tech paper is set at 10+2 level and covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
