Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (formerly AP EAMCET)

AP EAPCET, the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance examination for admission to undergraduate professional courses in Andhra Pradesh. It is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada) on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), a statutory body of the state government. The test was earlier known as AP EAMCET; it was renamed after medical (MBBS and BDS) admissions in the state moved to the national NEET, leaving engineering, agriculture and pharmacy within its scope.

A single examination covers two streams. The MPC (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) stream is the route to engineering degrees such as B.Tech, while the BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) stream leads to agriculture and allied programmes and to pharmacy courses including B.Pharm and Pharm.D. A candidate's AP EAPCET rank is used for admission to government and private colleges across Andhra Pradesh through state-conducted counselling under APSCHE.

It is an undergraduate-level test delivered as a computer-based test taken online, held once a year at exam centres in the state. To sit for it, candidates must have passed or be appearing in the Intermediate (10+2) examination with the relevant subject combination for the stream they choose.
