About KIITEE

KIITEE, the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination, is the single admission test for programmes at KIIT (Deemed-to-be) University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It runs at national level in online computer-based (CBT) mode. KIIT conducts it itself, not through a shared testing agency.

One exam feeds a wide set of courses across both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. On the UG side it is the route into B.Tech, BCA and BBA, among others; at PG level it is used for MBA and MCA admission. Because it is a single-institute test, a KIITEE rank leads only to KIIT programmes and is not accepted elsewhere. For B.Tech, candidates are tested on Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

KIIT was established in 1992 and received deemed-to-be university status in 2004, with its campuses in Bhubaneswar. The entrance examination is the primary way into its engineering, management, computer application, law and allied programmes.
