About AILET
AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi). NLU Delhi does not admit through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) used by the other national law universities; it conducts AILET as its own entrance test instead.
The test is the entry point to NLU Delhi's five-year integrated BA LLB (Hons.) at the undergraduate level and its LLM at the postgraduate level. It is held once a year.
AILET is held offline in pen-and-paper form, with candidates marking their answers on an OMR sheet. The undergraduate paper covers English and comprehension, current affairs and general knowledge, and logical reasoning; the LLM paper draws on core law subjects.

Eligibility
- ·UG (BA LLB Hons.): 10+2 with at least 45% (42% OBC, 40% SC/ST/PwD); awaiting-results may apply. PG (LLM): LLB or equivalent with at least 50% (45% SC/ST/PwD). Foreign nationals on qualifying-exam merit, exempt from AILET.
