Scholarships in India

The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.

The scheme shall apply to students:

The student and his/her parents should belong to the Brahmin community.

The applicant should be a Reader/Associate Professor/Professor in the Science and Technology departments of a university.

The proposal should be submitted by a group of faculties, one is Principal Investigator (PI) from different TEQIP institutions and other are Co- Principal Investigators (Co-PIs) from TEQIP or Non TEQIP Institution.

Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

The beneficiary should be a resident of Meghalaya.

The applicant must be a student of a government primary or middle school in Madhya Pradesh.

The applicant should have been born in Goa or resident of Goa for at least last fifteen years.

1st Rank Holders in any recognized University and academic Institutions (Excluding Autonomous Colleges) in India in Post-Graduate (PG) level examination in Basic/Applied Sciences including Engineering, Pharmacy, Agricultural Sciences, and Veterinary Sciences.

Bonafide students of any recognized University/Institution within India or abroad, fulfilling following conditions are eligible to apply for the internship:-

The child should not be enrolled in a school.

The beneficiary should be a student.

The student should belong to the Scheduled Caste Category of Gujarat.

The scholarships will be open to Indian nationals belonging to OBCs, EBCs, and DNTs, as notified by the UT Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu Admin.

The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan.

Applicant should be a resident of Karnataka state.

The applicant should be a registered construction worker under the Andhra Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

The beneficiary should be a Student.

The candidate should be one of the following: (i) an orphan, OR (ii) whose either or both parents died due to Covid 19, OR (iii) Ward of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces martyred in action (Shaheed).

The applicant must be a resident of Bihar.

Parent must be registered construction workers.

The applicant must be a student from classes 6 to 12, studying in a government or non-government school in any of the six border districts of the state: Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Champawat, Bageshwar, or Pithoragarh.

(i) Faculty members regularly appointed and working in the following institutions:

The applicant should be a permanent resident of Kerala.

The worker should be registered under Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB).

The applicant parent should be a teacher/lecturer working in a government or aided institution with life membership of the Welfare Fund.

For the M.Sc./M.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering only) Courses:

The applicant should have passed out from any of the recognised universities with a Master's Degree.

The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar.

The applicant must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.

The applicant must be a Khadi Artisan (Khadi Karigar).

The Candidates should be a domicile of Tripura.

The applicant must be a native resident of Chhattisgarh.

The students should have passed the 12th examination from a recognized institution and board in Gujarat.

The eligibility conditions are as per notification for UGC-NET and CSIR-UGC-NET examinations.

The applicant must be a student belonging to a Scheduled Caste, Denotified Nomadic, Semi Nomadic Tribe, Landless Agricultural Labourer, or a Traditional Artisan.

The beneficiary must be a registered construction worker in the board.

Category A: The following are the primary eligibility criteria-

Children destitute during the Corona period, identified by the Women Welfare Department, Lucknow.

For Registration as a Building/ Construction Worker -

The applicant should be a permanent resident of the Kerala State.

For Ashramshalas (Educational Institutions)

Prescribed Qualification:-

The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.

The candidate must be a domicile of India.

The applicant should be a tribal student belonging to the Khasi, Jaintia, Garo, Koch, or Hajong tribes of Meghalaya.

The applicant should be a citizen of India.

Only girl students belonging to six notified Minority Communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Parsis are eligible.

The applicant’s residence must be the resident of Tripura.

The parent should be a regular, in-service State Government Employee of Assam.

Only women candidates are eligible to apply.

The applicant student should be a permanent resident of Assam.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Kerala.

The applicant should belong to the Muslim, Latin, or Converted Christian community.

The student must be studying in a Government College or State University campus of Uttarakhand.

The regular professors working in state government colleges and state university campuses of Uttarakhand, as well as students and research scholars enrolled in regular programs at recognized institutions within the state, are eligible to apply.

The student must have passed Class 8 (institutional) from a Government School or Government-aided private school of the state (excluding Central and Residential schools) and must be studying in Class 9.

The student must be a domicile of Meghalaya.

The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants -

The applicant must be above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class 12th of 10+2 pattern or equivalent.

For Registration as a Building/ Construction Worker:

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

The worker should be engaged in building or construction work.

Eligibility of students:

The applicant should be a citizen of India.

The applicant must belong to the non-reserved category.

A full-time bonafide student studying in any UG/PG Program in a department/institute/center of the University of Delhi (UoD).

The applicant must have secured at least 70% marks in Class 10th.

For Secondary Schools:

The student must have secured minimum 75% marks in class 10th.

The applicant should be a student.

The student should belong to any of the following categories of families:

ICAR-SRF (PGS) will be awarded on the basis of merit in the All India Competitive Entrance Examination for -

Indian citizens and People of Indian origin with PIO status having Ph.D. degrees (in science, mathematics, engineering, pharmacy, medicine, and agriculture-related subjects) from any recognized university in the world.

The applicant should possess a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and at least three years of post-doctoral research experience in premier research laboratories abroad with an outstanding track record of research in biotechnology-related areas as reflected in publications and other recognitions.

Girl students who have passed class 12th with a minimum of 65% marks in Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and passed class 12th with a minimum of 75% marks in Central Board of Secondary Education who are studying in any school in Rajasthan.

The applicant must be a student of Classes 9 to 12.

The applicant must be a resident of Bihar.

The applicant should have completed/ongoing PhD or M.Sc in Extension Education/ Economics/ Sociology/ Psychology/ MSW/ Journalism/ Communication/ Environmental Science.

Minimum age for an apprentice is 14 years, and 18 years for designated trades related to hazardous industries, as per Section 3(a) of the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Category I & III: Best Skill Trainers and Master Trainers – Long-Term Training

The applicant should be a citizen of India.

The applicant should be pursuing a graduate or post-graduate degree course in Engineering/ Management/ Law/ Science stream/Renewable Energy in a recognized University/institution within India or abroad.

Master’s degree in agriculture/allied sciences with an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) 6.60 out of 10.0 or 65% marks or equivalent will be the eligibility requirement for the NS-ICAR IFs.

The applicant should be one of the following -

The wards/children of the building and other construction workers are eligible to apply under the scheme.

The students should belong to the Other Eligible Communities (OEC) & Other Equivalent Communities of Kerala State.

The student should be a resident of Karnataka State.

The applicant must be a citizen of India.

The students should belong to the SC/ST category.

Post Graduate Scholarship is entitled only to those students:

The applicant should be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

The applicant Should be studying in graduate/post-graduate courses.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.

The scholarships are open to Indian nationals only.

The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste category.

The applicant must belong to a minority community (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Buddhist, or Jain).

Dependent wards of States/UTs Police Personnel who are martyred during Terror/Naxal attacks are eligible under this category subject to the following:-

The beneficiary should be a student.

The parent's/Guardian's annual income should be less than or equal to ₹1.50 Lac.

The student pursuing his/her studies in Class XI and XII in Higher Secondary Schools affiliated to Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha.

The applicant should be residing in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The fellowship is open to brilliant Indian scientists and engineers from all over the world who are below the age of 40 years, who want to return to India from abroad.

The children's parents/guardians should be registered construction workers.

The Indian working in any area of life sciences & biotechnology, bio-engineering, healthcare (human and animal), agriculture and veterinary biotechnology, bio-energy, and allied areas will be eligible to apply.

Either of the parents of the students should be Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Cine worker with at least six months service. The nominee should be an active woman scientist with an excellent record of research performance as an independent investigator.

For Junior Research Fellowship

A candidate must hold a first-class in Bachelor’s degree in respect of Professional Courses (Engineering, Medicine, Law, Agriculture, Veterinary Science) or a first-class in Master's degree in Arts/Science from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

A scholar with good academic credentials at least one publication, either a book or a research paper in reputed journals, and 2 years of research/teaching experience will be eligible to apply for the Tagore National Scholarships.

The applicant should be a student.

Students who have been admitted in +3 Arts with Odia as Honours subject (1St Year) in Degree Colleges / Autonomous Colleges/ State Universities of Odisha or other states after passing +2 Examination with 60% marks aggregate conducted by CHSE, Odisha will be eligible for applying for this Scholarship at U.G. level.

The applicant (girl student) must be a resident of Uttarakhand.

Scholarship of Rs. 6000/- per annum is provided to the first 300 students who passed the class X examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur for a period of 2 years.

Unemployed women who want to pursue a Ph.D. can apply for a fellowship under WISE-PhD. The programme is open for both candidates; those who have not yet registered as well as those who have already registered for a Ph.D., but not availing of a fellowship from any sources.
