About CUET UG
CUET (UG), the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate), is a national entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education. Its scores decide admission to undergraduate programmes at central universities across India. Participating state, deemed, and private universities accept them too, where they choose to.
The test brought admission to these universities under a single window, in place of the separate university-level processes that ran before it. The NTA was handed the undergraduate entrance test for all central universities from the 2022-2023 academic session, building on an earlier common test, the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET), which dated back to 2010.
CUET (UG) runs once a year in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The paper has three parts: a language section, domain subjects that you pick to match the programme you are applying to, and a general test of aptitude and reasoning. Those subject choices need to line up with the eligibility rules of the university and programme you are targeting.

Eligibility
