About MAH MBA CET
MAH MBA CET, formally the Maharashtra MBA/MMS Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance exam for admission to postgraduate management programmes in Maharashtra. The State Common Entrance Test Cell, an agency of the Government of Maharashtra, conducts it; the same cell runs the common entrance tests for professional courses across the state.
Your score is the entry point to the Centralised Admission Process, or CAP, through which seats are allotted across MBA and MMS (Master in Management Studies) programmes at participating institutes. These span government, government-aided, university-affiliated and unaided private colleges. Among them are Mumbai and Pune schools such as JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, Welingkar and SIES.
The test is computer-based, taken online at the postgraduate level, and set entirely as multiple-choice questions. It covers logical and abstract reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and verbal ability with reading comprehension. To sit it you need a bachelor's degree of at least three years with a minimum aggregate, relaxed for reserved-category candidates domiciled in Maharashtra; students in their final year can also appear.
