About GUJCET
GUJCET, the Gujarat Common Entrance Test, is a state-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses in Gujarat. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts it. GSEB is based in Gandhinagar and also runs the state's SSC and HSC examinations.
GUJCET scores feed the counselling run by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat, which allocates seats across the state's degree engineering colleges and its degree and diploma pharmacy colleges. The test is held once a year, and candidates sit it from the Class 12 science stream. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is the combination used for engineering admission; Physics, Chemistry and Biology applies to pharmacy.
The exam is offline, taken on paper with OMR answer sheets, at the undergraduate entry level. It covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology, drawn from the Class 12 science syllabus prescribed by GSEB.
