Overview
About CAPCEAILF
The Coaching Assistance for Pre-preparation for Competitive Exams of All India Level is a Gujarat state scheme run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department through its Director, Developing Castes Welfare. It helps students from the socially and educationally backward classes, and from economically backward families, meet the cost of coaching for major entrance and qualifying exams.
The scheme covers coaching for all-India level entrance tests, including those for the IIMs, CEPT, NIFT and the National Law Universities. The benefit reimburses the coaching fee up to a fixed ceiling.
It is meant for individual students who are permanent residents of Gujarat and belong to the eligible backward-class categories, subject to conditions on prior marks and family income. There is no application fee, and eligible candidates apply online through the state's social welfare portal.
