About MYSY

Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, known as MYSY, is a scholarship scheme run by the Government of Gujarat for students moving into higher education. The name reads as the Chief Minister's Youth Self-Reliance Scheme, and it is administered under the state's Education Department.

The Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG), a Gujarat government body, lists MYSY among its programmes and hosts the scheme's official portal. myScheme, the Government of India's central scheme portal, classifies its benefit as in-kind support.

The scheme is meant for individual students in Gujarat who continue to higher studies after school. The detailed eligibility conditions, the categories of assistance, and the amounts are set by the state and published on the official MYSY portal, which applicants should check for the current terms.
