Establishment of Integrated Educational Complexes(EIEC)
Overview
About EIEC
Establishment of Integrated Educational Complexes is a state infrastructure scheme run by the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa. It is aimed at institutions rather than individual students, and its support is given in kind, not as a cash grant.
The scheme addresses the inadequate infrastructure and congested conditions of government-aided educational institutions in Goa's urban centres, among them Panaji, Margao and Mapusa. Those three towns are the headquarters of the state's central, south and north education zones.
The Directorate of Education administers school education across Goa, from the pre-primary stage through higher secondary, under the Goa, Daman and Diu School Education Act, 1984. This scheme sits within that remit: the beneficiary is the institution that receives the improved facilities, so there is no separate application for a student or parent to file.
