Overview

About SSMCTVC

Stipends to Students of Minority Caste for Technical and Vocational Courses after SSC is a Gujarat state government scheme run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. The department works through directorates that handle education and welfare support for the state's backward classes and minority communities.

The scheme provides a cash stipend, paid monthly for one year, to students who continue into technical or vocational courses after completing the Secondary School Certificate (SSC). The aim is to ease the cost of study at this stage so that eligible students can stay on their course.

It is directed at students from Minority Caste communities in Gujarat. The stipend rate, the courses covered and the qualifying conditions are fixed by the department, so check the current terms and the documents required before you apply.
