Overview

About STSSTS

The State Technical Scholarship for ST Student is a scholarship of the Government of Nagaland, administered by the Directorate of Technical Education. It supports students from Scheduled Tribe communities in Nagaland who are studying for a technical or professional qualification.

The award covers two groups of courses. The first is a diploma, degree, or postgraduate programme in engineering at an institute recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The second is an undergraduate or postgraduate course in forestry. Support takes the form of an annual book grant paid across the duration of the course.

It is meant for students who belong to a Scheduled Tribe community and are enrolled in one of these recognised courses. The income limit, required documents, and application steps are set by the Directorate.
