About SATGMSA
The State Agriculture Thesis Grant for M.Sc. Agriculture is a state-level scheme run by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland. It offers a cash grant tied to the thesis component of the M.Sc. Agriculture programme, for inhabitants of Nagaland who have completed that programme.
The Department of Agriculture is the nodal body for the scheme. It was set up as a full-fledged department in 1963, the year Nagaland became a state, and is headed by a Director. Alongside this grant it administers central and state farm-development programmes across the state's districts, including RKVY (Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana) and ATMA (Agricultural Technology Management Agency).
The benefit is a cash grant paid to individual applicants, not to institutions. It is scoped to residents of Nagaland connected to the M.Sc. | A student should fulfill the following criteria to be eligible for this Scholarship | The State Agriculture Thesis Grant will be applicable for all the inhabitants of Nagaland who passed the M.Sc. Agriculture. |
