Overview

About SIASEBCTPCE

The Special Incentive Assistance to Socially and Educationally Backward Class Trainees for Pre-preparation of Competitive Examination is a welfare scheme of the Government of Gujarat. It is run by the state's Social Justice and Empowerment Department, and administered on the ground by the Director, Developing Castes Welfare, whose office is in Gandhinagar.

The scheme is meant to help students from Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) in Gujarat meet the cost of preparing for competitive examinations that lead to state and central government jobs. The support is a cash benefit paid to the selected candidate, so it can offset coaching or training expenses that a family might otherwise struggle to cover.

It is aimed at SEBC candidates in the state who are getting ready for government recruitment examinations. Residence, category and income conditions apply and are set by the department, so a student should check the eligibility rules against their own situation before applying.
