About SSPFTDP
The Stipend Scheme for Poultry Farming Training for Divyang People is a Gujarat state scheme run by the state government's Department of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Co-operation. It is aimed at persons with disabilities (Divyang) who want to earn a living from poultry, and it gives them training in scientific poultry farming so they can raise their income from it.
The training is delivered through Gujarat's poultry extension network, the Intensive Poultry Development Project Offices and District Poultry Extension Centres. The benefit is a composite one: a stipend paid directly into the trainee's bank account for the training period, and a poultry training certificate awarded once the six-day course is finished.
The scheme is open to adult persons with disabilities living in Gujarat, with women and applicants below the poverty line given priority. Applications can be made online through the state's i-Khedut portal or in person at the nearest poultry extension office.

What you get
Award & benefits
- The beneficiary will be given maximum ₹2000 (direct in bank account) stipend for six days training. (Considering ₹300/- per day, ₹1800/- for 6 days as daily allowance and ₹200/- as to & fro transport fare with the maximum total stipend ₹2000/-)
- Beneficiary will be given poultry training certificate after completion of training.
