Scholarship
Scheduled Tribe Dashamottar Scholarship (Starting from Class 11) - Uttarakhand(STDSS11UK)
Overview
About STDSS11UK
The Scheduled Tribe Dashamottar Scholarship is a post-matric scholarship run by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand. "Dashamottar" means after the tenth class, and the scheme begins at Class 11, supporting Scheduled Tribe students of the state as they move into higher secondary and college-level study.
The benefit is financial assistance paid in cash. It helps a student meet the cost of continuing past Class 10, so that money is a smaller reason to drop out after matriculation.
It is meant for Scheduled Tribe students domiciled in Uttarakhand who are studying in Class 11 or above at a recognised institution. Support is tied to a family-income ceiling, and you apply through the state's scholarship process. Exact rates, the income limit and required documents vary by year and category.
