Overview

About OTCI-CITABTCT-SW

The One Time Cash Incentive towards Completing ITI, Typewriting, Accountancy, Bookkeeping, Tailoring, Computer Training is a state welfare scheme run by the Sainik Welfare Department of Puducherry, which works under the Government of Puducherry.

The scheme pays a one-time cash incentive to help former soldiers and their families take up civilian work after service. It is aimed at unemployed ex-servicemen and at the widows and dependents of ex-servicemen who complete a recognised vocational or technical course, such as an ITI trade, typewriting, accountancy, bookkeeping, tailoring or computer training.

The benefit is a single payment made once the course is finished, not a recurring stipend. Eligibility, the amount payable and the list of qualifying courses are fixed by the Puducherry Sainik Welfare Department.
