Loan for Training of Commercial Pilot (GUEEDC)(LTCPG)
Overview
About LTCPG
The Loan for Training of Commercial Pilot is a loan-finance scheme for candidates from Gujarat's unreserved category who want to train as commercial pilots. It is run by the Gujarat Unreserved Education & Economic Development Corporation (GUEEDC), a state corporation set up to support the education and economic development of the unreserved class, working under the Gujarat government's Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
Commercial pilot licence training is expensive, and the scheme exists to help eligible candidates meet that cost. The benefit is cash in the form of a loan carrying a fixed simple interest rate, advanced toward the training and repayable on the terms GUEEDC sets.
The scheme is meant for individual applicants who are residents of Gujarat, belong to the unreserved (non-reserved) category, and are pursuing commercial pilot training. Because it is scoped to the unreserved category, applicants covered by reserved-category corporations fall outside it.
