About MMGMY
The Mukhyamantri Gyansetu Merit Scholarship Yojana is a merit-based school scholarship run by the Education Department, Government of Gujarat. It supports students from Class 6 to Class 12 who study at schools selected under the scheme.

| The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat. | |
| The applicant must be a student. | |
| The applicant must have studied Classes 1st to 5th in a Government/ Government-aided/ RTE-approved self-financed primary school in Gujarat. | |
| The applicant must have passed the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the State Examination Board and be listed in the merit list. | |
| The applicant must have taken admission in Class 6th in a Government/ Government-aided/ RTE-approved self-financed primary school in Gujarat. |
What you get
Award & benefits
- Government Schools and Government -aided Schools (Approved by Education Department): For Class 6th to 8th: ₹5,000/- per year.
- For Class 9th to 10th: ₹6,000/- per year.
- For Class 11th to 12th: ₹7,000/- per year.
- Private (Selected) Schools: For Class 6th to 8th: ₹20,000/- per year.
- For Class 9th to 10th: ₹22,000/- per year.
- For Class 11th to 12th: ₹25,000/- per year.
- Frequency of Disbursement: Disbursed annually in two installments; the first 50% is given after confirmation of at least 80% attendance in the first semester.
