Overview

About JSSTPMSS

The Jharkhand State Scheduled Tribe Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme helps Scheduled Tribe students in Jharkhand continue their education beyond matriculation. It is run by the state's Department of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward Class Welfare.

The benefit is cash assistance towards the cost of post-matriculation study, for students enrolled in academic and professional courses at Class 11 and above. The department delivers the scheme through its eKalyan portal, where eligible students register, verify their details and apply online.

The aim is to ease the financial pressure that can force a student to stop after Class 10, so that higher and professional education stays within reach.
