Overview

About MMSFS

The Maanki Munda Scholarship for Female Students is a state-level scholarship run by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand. It encourages girls to take up technical education and helps them meet its cost through a cash award.

Support is for female students of the B.Tech programme at BIT Sindri who are in their second, third, or fourth year and are residents of Jharkhand. Eligibility further asks that the family income stays within Rs. 8,00,000 and that the student has passed Class 10 and Class 12 from schools in the state.

The scheme's stated aims are to make female students aware of enrolment in technical courses, to support their move toward financial independence, and to provide direct financial assistance. The beneficiary is the individual student, with the application submitted through BIT Sindri's Academic Section.
