Overview

About HFSAED

Hostel Facility for Students Availing Education in Delhi is a welfare scheme run by the Scheduled Caste Welfare Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is meant for Scheduled Caste students who belong to Madhya Pradesh and have secured admission to a recognised college or higher-education institution in Delhi.

The scheme addresses the cost of living in the capital, a major expense for a student who moves there to study. Selected students receive cash support toward their accommodation and everyday expenses in Delhi, so that the distance from home does not decide whether they can continue their education.

Applications are made to the Residential Commissioner at Madhya Pradesh Bhavan, the state government's office in New Delhi. The number of students supported is limited, and the benefit is restricted to Scheduled Caste students from Madhya Pradesh who are enrolled at a recognised institution in the city.
