About ISSMP
The Integrated Scholarship Scheme is a Madhya Pradesh government scholarship run by the state's Higher Education Department. It appears on myScheme, the central scheme-discovery portal maintained by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, which lists it as a state-level scheme for individual students.
The scheme brings several higher-education scholarships under one head. It covers doctoral (PhD) and M.Phil. research scholars, postgraduate students, and graduates who qualify on merit, and it keeps a separate category for sports. The benefit is a monthly cash amount, which myScheme records at rates between ₹300 and ₹600 depending on the level of study. Some awards are decided on merit alone and others on merit-cum-means.
myScheme lists three eligibility conditions: the student must be a native of Madhya Pradesh, study in a government college, and have a family income of no more than ₹54,000 a year from all sources. | The other qualifications of the applicant | Sports: The applicant should be a member of the national sports team in the school team of Madhya Pradesh, or should be a member of the adult team of the state or should have been in any of the first three places in the state level competition. |
