Overview

About ITSWPTCSE

The Tribal Welfare and Scheduled Caste (SC) Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh runs the Incentives to Students who Passed the Civil Service Examination scheme. It gives a cash award to Scheduled Tribe candidates from the state who clear stages of the Civil Services examinations conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The benefit is paid in cash and is tied to progress through the selection process, with separate awards for clearing the Preliminary examination, the Main examination and the Interview. It rewards Scheduled Tribe candidates who succeed at each stage.

Support is aimed at individual Scheduled Tribe candidates who are residents of Madhya Pradesh. How much a candidate receives depends on which examination (MPPSC or UPSC) and which stage they have cleared, and the department verifies eligibility before the award is released.
