Overview

About EBCDSSUK

The Economically Backward Class (EBC) Dashamottar Scholarship Scheme is a state scholarship for students in Uttarakhand who belong to the economically backward class and are studying from Class 11 onwards. It is run by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Uttarakhand, which handles welfare and scholarship schemes for the state's Scheduled Caste, backward class and economically weaker students.

The scheme provides cash assistance towards the cost of education, covering tuition fees and other academic expenses. The purpose is to ease the financial pressure that can stop eligible students from continuing into higher secondary and college studies after Class 10.

It is meant for EBC students of Uttarakhand who meet the department's income and academic conditions. Applications are handled through the National Scholarship Portal.
