Overview

About ESEP

The Enhancement of Spoken English Programme is a state scheme run by the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand. It is meant for students in Classes 9 to 12 who study in government schools across the state. Private-school students and those studying outside Uttarakhand fall outside its scope.

Its purpose is to improve students' spoken English. The support is given in kind, as language training rather than a cash payment, so what a student receives is instruction and practice rather than a scholarship amount.
