The scheme has never carried an application window, so there is no last date to miss. What exists instead is a distribution pattern tied to the academic calendar.

The class order in the later rows is the phasing the scheme's own myScheme record sets out. For a family, the practical date is the start of the academic session: distribution to a class happens through its school when its phase arrives, and the school knows the phase.

The filter is the school, not the family. A student qualifies by being enrolled in a Haryana government school in Classes 8 to 12; the published criteria on myScheme set no income ceiling, no caste or category condition, and no minimum marks.

There is no means test on paper, yet the scheme was built around one specific budget reality: the launch briefing argued that a poor family could not set aside Rs 3,500 a year for a child's internet alone, and aimed the scheme at households in exactly that position, per the launch announcement.

Within the eligible band, timing is class-dependent. A Class 11 student's device waits on the Class 10 board result, so the entitlement follows academic standing, not just enrolment.

Enrolment type shuts the main door. A student in a private school anywhere in Haryana sits outside the scheme regardless of family income, so a low-fee private school seat costs a family this benefit even when their finances match the scheme's intended profile.

Academic standing shuts the other. A student who does not qualify for the next academic year is not issued a tablet, which turns promotion into a working condition of the scheme.

And because the School Education Department of Haryana runs it, enrolment in another state's government school gives no claim under e-Adhigam.

There is nothing to renew on paper. The device is issued once and stays with the student from class to class; the recurring parts of the benefit, such as the data allowance, ride along while the tablet remains issued.

Continuation instead runs through the classroom: passing into the next academic year keeps the entitlement alive, since the scheme's own exclusion removes students who do not qualify for it. The published record describes no annual re-verification or re-application procedure beyond this.

What a student receives is best read as a bundle of hardware, content, and connectivity. The launch figures put a value on each part.

The official records disagree on how often that data renews. The launch announcement promised 2 GB per day on Airtel or Reliance Jio; the scheme's myScheme record describes the free data as a monthly allowance. Read the daily figure as launch messaging, and the SIM in hand as the binding answer.

The content layer is the part the scheme is named for. The tablets carry a learning management system built on Personalized Adaptive Learning, along with mock tests, NCERT solutions, and apps such as e-Pathshala, and the state pitched them as preparation tools for NEET, JEE and other competitive exams beyond the board syllabus, per the same announcement. It also said the device would help students pick up 21st-century skills such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

Note what the award is not: there is no cash transfer at any point, and the device itself remains state property throughout.

No application file exists, so the paperwork is thin. Two documents do real work at the point of issue: the government school's own ID card, and, for the Class 11 tranche, the Class 10 board marksheet that proves the student cleared the gate.

Identity papers matter more than they look. In the first week of distribution, some SIM cards could not be activated because students had no ID available, and the state arranged camps by Jio and Airtel inside school premises to complete verification, as the Directorate's follow-up release describes. A student with ID in order collects a working device; one without it collects a tablet that cannot go online until the paperwork catches up.

There is no form, no portal, and no login. The school identifies its eligible students from its own rolls and the government hands devices over at distribution events; a family's only task is to make sure the enrolment record is accurate and an ID card exists.

The handover itself has two technical steps worth knowing. Every tablet carries Mobile Device Management, and activation is mandatory before use, which is how the state filters what content the device can reach; the tablets are also WiFi enabled, so they work on a home or school connection even where the SIM is not yet live, per the Directorate's release.

Nobody is selected over anybody else. Every enrolled student of the eligible classes in a government school is meant to receive a device, so the only ordering is the phase plan, plus the board-result gate for Class 11.

The published record sets out no selection rule beyond that eligibility.

The controlling term is ownership. The tablet is government property issued on the library model, and the loan closes when the school career does: after Class 12, the device goes back.

While it is issued, the device is not an open computer. Mobile Device Management stands between the student and unwanted content, its activation is compulsory, and the state said early on that tablets are not being taken back from children while they study, per the Directorate's release.

One practical caution: connectivity is administered by the department through the schools, not through any recharge a family controls. Before planning study around the SIM, ask the class teacher whether data on the issued device is currently active, and treat the WiFi capability as the fallback.

The scheme publishes no dedicated helpline. The working route runs through the institution that holds your record: the class teacher or school head first, then the district education officer, then the School Education Department, Government of Haryana.
