Overview

About CBPIAISCS

The Coaching by Private Institutes for All India Services Civil Services Examination scheme is a state welfare programme run by the Department of Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Caste Welfare, Madhya Pradesh. It was launched on 12 September 2013 and is administered through the department's MPTAAS platform.

The scheme helps Scheduled Tribe graduates from Madhya Pradesh prepare for the Civil Services Examination, the route into the IAS, IPS and other central and all-India services. Selected candidates are placed with empanelled private coaching institutes, and the state provides cash assistance towards the cost of that coaching. The support comes as cash and direct fee payment, not as coaching provided by the department itself.

Eligibility is limited to permanent residents of the state whose family income stays within the prescribed limit and who fall within the UPSC age band for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination. Applications are made online through the MPTAAS portal, which lists the full eligibility conditions and benefit amounts.
