Overview

About DBRAMSAS

The Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Meritorious Student Award Scheme is a merit award run by the Government of Madhya Pradesh for students from the Scheduled Caste (SC) community. It is administered through the state's Scheduled Caste welfare department.

The award goes to the top scorers in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations held in Madhya Pradesh, whether under the state Board of Secondary Education, CBSE, or ICSE. The benefit is a one-time cash prize, ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹51,000 depending on the class and the rank reached, with an additional allocation for female awardees.

Because it is triggered by marks already scored, the award works as recognition of results a student has achieved rather than a scholarship applied for in advance.
