Overview

About CSIDNNASNC

The Civil Service Incentive is a cash award scheme run by the Department of De-notified, Nomadic and Semi-nomadic Welfare, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It rewards candidates from the state's de-notified, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities who clear stages of the civil services examinations conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

The purpose is to raise the number of people from these communities who sit for and pass competitive civil service exams, and to help offset the cost of preparing for them. The incentive is paid at successive stages of the exam cycle, so a candidate can receive it after the preliminary round, again after the mains, and again after the interview, with the UPSC track carrying larger amounts than the MPPSC one.

To qualify you must belong to a de-notified, nomadic or semi-nomadic community recognised in Madhya Pradesh and have passed the relevant stage of an MPPSC or UPSC civil services examination. The benefit is a cash sum credited to the candidate's bank account; the exact figure depends on which examination and which stage you have cleared.
