Overview

About CMACS

The CM Anuprati Coaching Scheme (Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Yojana) is a free-coaching programme run by the Government of Rajasthan. It is administered by the state's Social Justice and Empowerment Department, with the Tribal Area Development Department handling Scheduled Tribe applicants and the Minority Affairs Department handling minority applicants.

The scheme pays for coaching so that students who cannot afford private institutes can still prepare for competitive examinations. The government sponsors seats at empanelled coaching institutes and adds an annual accommodation allowance for candidates who move away from home to attend. Coaching spans a broad set of exams, including the UPSC civil services and Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RAS) tests, engineering and medical entrance exams such as JEE and NEET, teacher recruitment (REET), constable and other state recruitment posts, and CLAT.

It is meant for students from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Most Backward Class, Economically Weaker Section and minority backgrounds who are permanent residents of Rajasthan and fall within the scheme's family-income limit. There is no separate entrance test. The department prepares a district-wise and category-wise merit list from applicants' Class 10 and Class 12 board results, and seats are filled from that list.
