About TLOIIS
The Lokpal of India Internship Scheme is a short, in-person internship run by the Lokpal of India, the national anti-corruption ombudsman established under the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013. It places students inside the institution for a few weeks, giving them a close view of how the country's anti-corruption machinery works.
The purpose is working exposure to the legal and institutional framework against corruption. Interns study the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Central Vigilance Commission Act, and see how bodies such as the Lokpal, the Central Vigilance Commission and the CBI function. They are also expected to contribute fresh ideas toward the Lokpal's effective functioning. Alongside the placement, a stipend is paid on successful completion.
It is open to students pursuing a regular undergraduate or postgraduate course at an institution affiliated to a recognised Indian university, in fields such as law, political science, public administration, public policy, management, economics or human rights. Selection is competitive, with a small number of positions each cycle, and the internship is based at the Lokpal in New Delhi.

Who can apply
Eligibility criteria
| The applicant should be a student. | |
| The applicant must be enrolled in an institution affiliated with a recognized university within India. | |
| The applicant should be pursuing a regular undergraduate or postgraduate degree course in the field of law, political science, public administration, public policy, management, economics, or human rights. | |
| The applicant must have secured at least 75% or equivalent marks in the 12th class.1. The undergraduate student must have completed at least two years of study in the undergraduate course. | |
| The undergraduate student must have a minimum aggregate of % or equivalent marks in years completed till the date of application. | |
| The postgraduate students must have a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent in the graduation course. | |
| The applicant must have his own laptop for the internship. |
