The NSFDC Internship Scheme(TNSFDCIS)
Overview
About TNSFDCIS
The NSFDC Internship Scheme is run by the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. NSFDC was set up in 1989 as a Section 8 not-for-profit company to finance income-generating work for Scheduled Caste families, along with skill training, entrepreneurship development and marketing support.
The internship places students inside that work for a fixed period. Interns are exposed to the programmes and schemes NSFDC runs and gain hands-on experience of how a central agency delivers socio-economic development for Scheduled Caste communities, from concessional credit to skill and enterprise support.
The value here is the placement and exposure itself, inside a government corporation working on development finance and public policy. If you are studying a field connected to social development, finance or public administration, this is the audience the scheme is built for; the exact eligibility conditions and benefit details are listed below.
