Overview

About SSCTTTI

The Stipend to Scheduled Caste Trainees in Technical Training Institutions is a welfare scheme run by the Adi Dravidar Welfare and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department, Government of Puducherry. It provides financial support to Scheduled Caste trainees who are undergoing training in the Union Territory's Government Technical Training Institutions.

The department's work is to improve the socio-economic and educational conditions of Scheduled Caste communities in Puducherry, and this scheme applies that aim to technical training. The benefit is paid as a cash stipend to eligible trainees for the duration of their course, meant to lower the cost of training so candidates can complete it.

Eligibility is tied to the Union Territory: the scheme is for individual Scheduled Caste candidates of Puducherry who are enrolled for training in one of its Government Technical Training Institutions.
