About STGCA
The ST Girl Child Literacy Incentive for Class 11 is a scholarship of the Government of Madhya Pradesh for Scheduled Tribe girl students. It is meant for girls who have passed Class 10 and are moving into Class 11.
The aim is to keep Scheduled Tribe girls in education past Class 10 and into higher secondary school. The benefit is a cash incentive credited directly to the student's own bank account through direct benefit transfer.
Support is limited to girl students who belong to a Scheduled Tribe, are permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, and are studying as regular students after clearing Class 10. Students from other categories, other states, or other classes fall outside its scope.

Who can apply
Eligibility criteria
| The applicant must be a girl student belonging to the Scheduled Caste category of Madhya Pradesh. | |
| The student must be continuously studying in Class 11 at a recognized institution. | |
| The annual family income should not exceed ₹6,00,000/- | |
| A verified copy of the permanent caste certificate issued by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) is required. | |
| A self-declaration certificate stating that the parent/guardian is not an income tax payer must be submitted. | |
| An income certificate or salary certificate issued by a competent authority must be provided. |
What you get

- Eligible SC girl students of Class 11 receive an annual financial incentive of ₹3,000/-, credited directly to their bank account
