About ROFPSSSISSPI
The Reimbursement of Fees of ST Students Studying in Sainik School Private Institutions is a state scheme run by the Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It covers the cost of schooling for Scheduled Tribe students who take admission in Sainik Schools and in recognised private institutions.
Support is given in kind rather than as a cash payout. It reimburses school fees and extends to accommodation and the education costs a student meets while studying at these institutions. The purpose is to keep fees from shutting tribal students out of Sainik School and private schooling.
The scheme is meant for Scheduled Tribe students who belong to Madhya Pradesh and are enrolled in a Sainik School or a private institution covered under it. Tribal education support in the state, including scholarships and fee reimbursement, is handled by the same department, and the scheme is listed on the national myScheme portal maintained by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
