Overview

About MMSUSCY

The Mukhya Mantri Sarvajan Uchcha Shiksha Chhatravriti Yojana is a state scholarship run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan. It is meant for students from Rajasthan who go on to higher education at national-level institutions such as the IITs and IIMs, where fees are steep enough to put a seat out of reach for many families.

The benefit is a cash reimbursement. The scheme returns half of the non-refundable fees charged by these institutions, so a student who has already earned admission is not forced to give up the place over money. It is one strand of the department's wider scholarship work, which also covers post-matric support for students continuing beyond school.

As the name suggests, the scheme is open to students across all sections of Rajasthan rather than a single category. If you have secured admission to an IIT, IIM or another qualifying national institution, you can apply for a share of your fees back, provided you meet the eligibility conditions set out below.
