Overview

About MMSAYFEWS

The Mukhyamantri Shiksha Alankar Yojana for Students of Economically Weaker Section is a state scholarship in Rajasthan. It is run by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, which administers welfare and education support for students from economically weaker and disadvantaged groups across the state.

The scheme recognises academic merit within the economically weaker section (EWS). It offers a cash award to EWS students who secure the highest marks in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), Ajmer. At the Class 12 stage the award covers the Arts, Commerce and Science streams.

Support is aimed at students studying in government schools affiliated with the RBSE, so it rewards the top scorers in the EWS category rather than offering broad financial aid. Because the award goes only to those with the highest marks, eligibility is tight; confirm the current marks criteria and covered streams with the department before applying.
