Merit Scholarship: Engineering University(MSEU)
Overview
About MSEU
Merit Scholarship: Engineering University is a state scholarship for students pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) at a recognized engineering college in Chhattisgarh. It pays a cash stipend each month while a student is enrolled in the degree.
The scholarship is run by the Technical Education Department, Government of Chhattisgarh. It is merit-based and helps engineering students meet the running costs of study. Two groups can apply: students who join the first year after passing their Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, and diploma holders who enter the second year of a B.E. course through lateral entry.
Engineering education in the state runs largely through colleges affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) in Bhilai, which was established in 2005 and affiliates more than sixty engineering colleges across Chhattisgarh.
