Overview

About LES-GOA

The Laptop-e Scheme is a state initiative of the Directorate of Education, Government of Goa. It gives Class XI students in Goa a personal portable computer so they can study and build digital skills during their higher secondary years.

The benefit is in kind rather than cash. An eligible student receives one entry-level laptop or notebook that meets the technical specifications the department sets, intended to support learning and the skills that help with later employment or self-employment.

The scheme is meant for students enrolled in Class XI at a recognised higher secondary school in Goa. Applications are routed through the school: you collect the prescribed form from the head of the institution, complete it with the required documents, and submit it back to the school for processing.
