KSCSTE Research Fellowship(KSCSTERF)
Overview
About KSCSTERF
The KSCSTE Research Fellowship is a doctoral fellowship for post-graduate science and engineering students in Kerala. It is run by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), an autonomous body under the Science and Technology Department, Government of Kerala, and is administered through the Council's Basic Science Division.
The scheme supports rank-holding MSc and M.Tech graduates while they pursue Ph.D. research, so that they can build careers as scientists. It is a composite fellowship: selected students receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the award, along with an annual contingency grant to meet research costs.
It is open to candidates who hold their qualifying post-graduate degree from a university in Kerala, across seven fields: Mathematical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Environmental Sciences, and Earth-Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences. Applications are made online, and fellows are chosen through a written examination.
