About KSPY
Kanya Saksharta Protsahan Yojana is a scholarship run by the Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is meant for Scheduled Tribe girls in the state who have passed Class 10 and taken admission to Class 11.
The scheme works as an enrolment incentive. Its purpose is to keep tribal girls in school past Class 10, the stage at which many stop studying, and to carry more of them into higher classes. A girl who enrols in Class 11 after clearing Class 10 is paid ₹3,000 a year, credited straight to her bank account.
To qualify, a girl must belong to a Scheduled Tribe, be a resident of Madhya Pradesh, and study as a regular Class 11 student in a government or recognised school.

What you get
Award & benefits
- Under this scheme, all girls belonging to Scheduled Tribes who have passed Class 10th and are entering Class 11th will receive an incentive amount of ₹3,000/- per year.
- Note: The incentive amount will be paid into the bank accounts of the girl students.
