Overview

About FAPSUBNC1T12CW-HLWB

This scheme is run by the Haryana Labour Welfare Board, a body under the Labour Department, Government of Haryana. It gives a one-time cash payment towards the cost of school uniforms, books and notebooks for the children of registered workers, covering schooling from Class 1 to Class 12. The benefit is paid in cash to the worker's family, aimed at the recurring items a school year demands.

The board draws on the Haryana Labour Welfare Fund, set up under the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 as adopted by the state and financed by monthly contributions from workers and their employers. Eligibility runs through that fund: the benefit is for children of workers employed in industrial and commercial establishments in Haryana who contribute to it.

The aim is narrow and practical, to take some of the recurring education cost off a working family so a child can stay in school. It is a one-time payment towards these costs rather than full funding, so treat it as a supplement to schooling expenses. For the current amount, eligibility conditions and how to apply, check the Haryana Labour Welfare Board's official listing before you file.
