Freeship less than ₹1,00,000 (UG students only) is a tuition-fee waiver run by Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) at Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. The office of the Dean, Student Welfare administers it, and myScheme lists it as a state-level scheme in Uttarakhand.
GBPUAT is an agricultural university built on the American land-grant model, and its student-welfare office runs hostels, sports, and a range of scholarships and freeships alongside this one. Under this scheme, selected undergraduates receive a full exemption from tuition fees, awarded on a merit-cum-means basis to students from low-income households.
