About CAAPB&OCWWB
Cash Award is a welfare scheme run by the Arunachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB), the statutory board constituted under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act, 1996. The board works under the Labour and Employment Department of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, and the scheme was started for workers registered with the board. The benefit is a cash award, and it runs only in Arunachal Pradesh.
The award recognises academic performance among the families of registered workers. It goes to their children who rank among the top performers in the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, so passing alone is not enough to qualify. Eligibility runs through the parent, which means the award follows a construction-worker household rather than the general student population.

Eligibility criteria
| The worker should be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh. | |
| The worker must be employed in the Building and Other Construction works. | |
| The worker should be registered with Labour Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB). | |
| The worker’s membership must be active. | |
| Children for whom the award is applied must have passed the class X and XII Board or equivalent examinations. | |
| Children (one son and one daughter) of the registered worker with a membership, who secure the highest marks in their District in Metric examination. |
