Overview

About APEIMETDC

This is a state scholarship run by the Tribal Development Department of the Government of Gujarat, delivered through the Commissionerate of Tribal Development. It is meant for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students of Gujarat who have taken admission in medical, engineering, and technical diploma courses.

The scheme provides a cash grant toward the educational instruments and equipment that these courses require. Eligibility is limited to ST students of Gujarat enrolled in one of the covered course types, so it is not open to students in general or to those in other streams. The benefit sits alongside the department's wider set of education schemes for tribal students, which range from pre- and post-matric scholarships to support for technical and vocational courses.
