Scholarship
Valmiki Chhatravritti Yojana(VCY)
Overview
About VCY
Valmiki Chhatravritti Yojana is a state scholarship run by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand. The aim is to keep the cost of tuition from ending a student's studies.
The benefit is paid in cash: the state reimburses tuition fees and adds a monthly stipend toward living and study costs.
It is meant for orphaned and differently-abled students in Jharkhand who are pursuing higher education. The department sets the full eligibility conditions and the documents a student needs to apply.
