Eligibility criteria
| The applicant must be Individuals/societies/self-help groups/associations/reservoir monopolies/private units, etc., involved in inland fisheries activities can avail the benefits of inland schemes. | |
| The applicant must be from the Scheduled Tribe community. | |
| The applicant must be above 18 years. | |
| The beneficiary must have his/her own bank account. | |
| The applicant must have an Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Ration Card/Passport as proof of identity. |
What you get
Award & benefits
- A trainee is paid a scholarship of ₹2,000/- per month for three months, amounting to a total of ₹6,000/-.
- Location: Tribal area training centers run by the Fisheries Department at Khedbrahma, Kadana, Chhota Udepur, Rajpipla, Madhuban, and Ukai.
- Conditions for Receiving Benefits: A trainee is eligible for the scholarship only if they maintain a minimum of 60% attendance during the training period.
- Validity: The benefit is available once in a lifetime for each eligible trainee.
